AGENDA OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF KOREAN LAW STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY (KLUS) TO BE HELD AT 6:00 PM, THURSDAY 24 MAY 2018 AT MANNING HOUSE MEETING ROOM 1 1. OPENING AND WELCOME 2. APOLOGIES AND LEAVES OF ABSENCE 3. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING & BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES 4. ANNUAL REPORTS 5. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS The following amendment to the constitution is proposed: 3.1 In accordance with the University of Sydney Union Clubs and Societies regulations, there shall be two classes of membership: (a) Ordinary Members: On application to the Secretary, all students members of the University of Sydney Union shall be eligible for Ordinary Membership of the Society. (b) Associate Membership: All holders of a current Access Card of the University of Sydney Union other than those who qualify for Ordinary Membership shall be eligible for Associate Membership of the Society. Associate Membership are not eligible to hold Executive positions, vote in elections or vote at meeting of the society. 3.2 Upon payment of a subscription fee, a person shall be deemed an Ordinary Member or Associate Membership of the Society and henceforth be bound by this Constitution. 3.3 The subscription fees for membership shall be: i) Ordinary Membership $10 ii) Associate Membership $10 Amend to: 3.1 In accordance with the University of Sydney Union Clubs and Societies regulations, there shall be two classes of membership: (a) Ordinary Members: On application to the Secretary, all students members of the University of Sydney Union shall be eligible for Ordinary Membership of the Society. ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES Appointment of Returning Officer Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions: • President • Vice-President • Secretary • Treasurer • Events/Media Director • Sponsorship Director • Senior Advisor • Committee Members (three positions)

Those wishing to apply are to contact (by email) any of our current execs outlining the applicant's NAME, ACADEMIC YEAR, POSITION(S) APPLIED FOR and any comments as to their suitability for the position(s). Individual executives will then inform the Committee immediately as to new nominations.

Pursuant to cl 8.2(b) of the Constitution, these nominations will close at 11:59 pm, Wednesday 23 May.

Should any of the executive positions remain uncontested, candidacy will be opened to the floor of members attending the AGM pursuant to cl 8.2(e) of the Constitution.
