AGENDA OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF Sydney University Online Gaming Society TO BE HELD AT 5.30pm, Monday the 28th of May AT

5. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS The following amendments to the constitution are proposed: Remove: 2.1 The aims of the society shall be to: • Promote the game of Competitive Online Games and given sufficient demand, other competitive online games. (Redundant Clause) Remove: 2.2 The Society will undertake the following activities to achieve its aims: • Hold viewings of professional tournaments. (Redundant Clause) Amend: 4.1 The Society shall have an Executive consisting of: 1. A President 2. A Vice President 3. A Secretary 4. A Treasurer 5. A League of Legends Executive 6. A Dota2 Executive 7. A Blizzard Games Executive 8. A Counter Strike: Global Offensive Executive 9. A Socials Director Executive To: 4.1 The Society shall have an Executive consisting of: i) A President ii) A Vice President iii) A Treasurer iv) A Secretary v) A Social Director vi) A Brand Manager vii) 2 Event Managers viii) A League of Legends Manager Amend: 5.1. The President shall: i) Plan the Society’s activities in consultation with the Executive. ii) Liaise with the Executive and any Committees formed by the Society. iii) Ensure an adequate handover, including any documents and materials, to the following executive. 5.2. The Vice President(s) shall: i) Deputise for the President. ii) Try to obtain sponsors. iii) Assist the president in the duties with paperwork, and organising events. 5.3. The Treasurer shall: i) Maintain the Society’s finances in accordance to the C&S Handbook for Treasurers produced by the Clubs & Societies Office of the University of Sydney Union. ii) Present to the Annual General Meeting of the Society a report detailing the financial activity and status of the Society. iii) Ensure an adequate handover, including any documents and materials, to the following Executive. 5.4. The Secretary shall: i) Conduct the correspondence of the Society. ii) Book meeting rooms for the Society. iii) Keep minutes of the proceedings of all Society meetings. iv) Maintain the records and documents of the Society. v) Maintain a list of Current Members, in accordance with University of Sydney Union Guidelines. vi) Maintain the Society's registration with The University of Sydney Union. 5.5. The League of Legends Executive shall: i) Assist the president in coordinating events for League of Legends. ii) Assist in Coordinating any tournaments that are being run. iii) Whenever possible submit applications for Riot approved giveaways surrounding events. iv) Maintain Correspondence with the members who are interest in league of legends. 5.6. The Dota 2 Executive shall: i) Assist the president in coordinating events for Dota 2. ii) Assist in coordinating tournaments should they be embarked upon. iii) Look for more ways to further Dota 2 interests among members. iv) Maintain correspondence with the members of the society who are interested in Dota 2. 5.7. The Blizzard Games Executive shall: i) Assist the president in coordinating events for Blizzard Games. ii) Assist in coordinating tournaments should they be embarked upon. iii) Look for more ways to further Blizzard Games interests among members. iv) Maintain correspondence with the members of the society who are interested in Blizzard Games. 5.8. The Counter Strike: Global Offensive Executive shall: i) Assist the president in coordinating events for Counter Strike: Global Offensive. ii) Assist in coordinating tournaments should they be embarked upon. iii) Look for more ways to further Counter Strike: Global Offensive interests among members. iv) Maintain correspondence with the members of the society who are interested in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. 5.9. The Socials Director Executive shall: i) Assist the president in coordinating all social events and publications. iii) Look for more ways to further social interests among members. iv) Maintain correspondence with the members of the society who are interested in social events and publications. To: 5.1 The President shall: i) Plan the Society’s activities in consultation with the Executive. ii) Liaise with the Executive and any Committees formed by the Society. iii) Ensure an adequate handover, including any documents and materials, to the following Executive. 5.2 The Vice-President shall: i) Deputise for the President. 5.3 The Treasurer shall: i) Maintain the Society’s finances in accordance with the handbooks produced by the Clubs & Societies Office of The University of Sydney Union. ii) Present to the Annual General Meeting of the Society a report detailing the financial activity and status of the Society. iii) Ensure an adequate handover, including any documents and materials, to the following Executive. 5.4 The Secretary shall: i) Conduct the correspondence of the Society. ii) Book meeting rooms for the Society. iii) Keep minutes of the proceedings of all Society meetings. iv) Maintain the records and documents of the Society. v) Maintain a list of current Members, in accordance with University of Sydney Union Guidelines. vi) Maintain the Society’s registration with The University of Sydney Union. 5.5 The Social Director shall: i) Manage the Society’s events, with assistance from the executive team. ii) Gauge interest among society members for social events and maintain correspondence with members of the society who are interested in social events. 5.6 The Brand Manager shall: i) Manage and administer any social media pages the Society holds. ii) Liaise with current sponsors and attempt to find new sponsors for the Society. iii) Create promotional material for the Society and sponsors at events and Society meetings. 5.7 The Event Mangers shall: i) Assist the Social Director in planning, managing and running the societies events. ii) Take charge during events to make sure attendees are participating respectfully and honestly. iii) Administer, build roster brackets, settle player disputes etc. for Society tournaments. 5.8 The League of Legends Manager shall: i) Manage and administer any League of Legends related activities with the Society. ii) Liaise with Riot Games and attempt to find new opportunities involving League of Legends for the Society. Amend: 7.7 A General Meeting of the Society has the same powers as an Ordinary Meeting, and may also carry the following motions on notice relating to the affairs of the Society by a two-thirds majority vote of those members present and voting: i) Filling vacancies on the Executive To: 7.8 Vacant executive positions may be filled at a General Meeting following the ordinary procedures for election as per Section 9 of this constitution. Apend: 8.2 ii) to determine the necessity of the League of Legends Manager, and determine if the role is defunct or if a similar executive position is necessary for an equally popular online game. a. If there is the necessity to change the League of Legends Manager executive position, this change will be discussed as part of an alteration to the constitution (see section 10). Amend: 14. 6. ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES Appointment of Returning Officer Nominations will be considered and voted on for the following positions: • A President • A Vice President • A Treasurer • A Secretary • A Social Director • A Brand Manager • 2 Event Managers • A League of Legends Manager Voting shall be by secret ballot, and shall be First Past the Post Nominations will be taken at the meeting
