SUMS will be holding their AGM. Elections will take place for all executive positions bar the First Years Officer. Senior executives will also be delivering their Annual Reports. Some constitutional amendments will be proposed and these are listed on the AGM Agenda. 
5. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

2. Make mathematics enjoyable and fun.
3. Provide a venue for mathematics students to meet one another.
4. Promote careers in mathematics.
 
2.3  The Society will undertake the following activities to achieve its aims:
 
1. Hold talks given by students or staff on a regular basis.
2. Hold puzzle days on mathematical and general problems.
3. Provide help at and after meetings with assignments and problems.
4. Hold debates on mathematical topics and issues of interest.
5. Release and advertise the ΣUMS inter-university competition among members and non-members.
6. Coordinate and run the ΣUMS Puzzle Hunt.
7. Help the School of Mathematics and Statistics in advertising and promoting its events.
8. Run social events for students in mathematics.
The Society will undertake the following activities to achieve its aims:
 
1. Hold talks given by students or staff on a regular basis.
2. Hold puzzle events on mathematical and general problems.
3. Run social events for students of mathematics.
4. Engage with industry partners.
5. Help the School of Mathematics and Statistics in advertising and promoting its events.
 
Membership 3.1
The classes of annual membership shall be:

Honorary Membership can be granted to any person by a two-thirds majority vote at a General Meeting. Honorary Membership may be terminated by a two-thirds majority vote at a General Meeting. Honorary Members are only eligible to hold Executive positions, vote in elections or vote at meetings of the Society if they qualify for Ordinary Membership of the Society.

A General Meeting of the Society may also carry the following motions on notice relating to the affairs of the Society by a two-thirds majority vote of those members present and voting:

2. Repealing motions and the effect of motions carried at an Ordinary Meeting.
3. Amending the Constitution.
4. Dismissing Executive Members for reasons other than that in 4.3 of the Constitution, provided that the Executive Member is given reasonable right of reply.
5. Dissolving the Society.
A General Meeting of the Society may also carry the following motions on notice relating to the affairs of the Society by a two-thirds majority vote of those members present and voting:
 
1. Repealing motions and the effect of motions carried at an Ordinary Meeting.
2. Amending the Constitution.
3. Dismissing Executive Members for reasons other than that in 4.3 of the Constitution, provided that the Executive Member is given reasonable right of reply.
4. Dissolving the Society.
