SURCAS is the Sydney University Recreational Circus Arts Society. The society is a non-profit society run under the clubs and societies program of the USU. We are a vibrant and colourful society, aiming to provide our members with training and experience in a variety of circus skills, so that they are able to perform at a professional standard. We teach and perform skills including juggling and object manipulation, magic, acrobatics, fire spinning, and aerial acts on the trapeze, devil sticks, silks, and aerial hoop among other thingsā€¦ For keen performers we provide talent quest nights, charity performances, commercial gigs and our very own show! SURCAS is available to hire for stage, podium and roving performances, workshops or children's parties. Some skills include: fire-twirling, juggling, acrobatics, human-pyramids, unicycling, hula-hooping, devil-sticks, diabolo, aerials(trapeze-ring-tissu), clowning, balloon-twisting, face-painting and more.
