Starting uni is scary enough without having to settle into a new country at the same time.
We give international students support and guidance, as well as a place to hang out at the International Student Lounge (ISL) on Level 4, Wentworth Building.
Here's what's on offer:
Challenge your friends to a game of pool. There's FREE pool thanks to Iglu from 2pm-4pm every Friday!
At all other times, ACCESS members receive a 15% discount.
You can also join the Thursday Pool Competition, 4-6pm, by registering at the ISL front desk, located next to the pool tables.
Hire a locker for one semester or the whole year. They’re located on levels 2 and 4 of the Wentworth Building, in Manning House and the Holme Building. ACCESS members receive a 15% discount. Hire your locker online.
Join social events run by the many on-campus Clubs & Societies most weekday afternoons, offering a chance to make new friends and take part in activities ranging from chess tournaments to hip-hop dance classes. Come and join in the fun.
The International Student Lounge is also home to Unimates, an international students club that holds regular social and cultural events such as weekend trips to the Blue Mountains and tours of Sydney city.
Get to know your campus with a guided tour by our friendly volunteers. Find out where the computer labs, libraries and USU facilities are located, and learn tips and tricks to make the most of your time at the University of Sydney.
