We give international students support and guidance, as well as a place to hang out at the International Student Lounge (ISL) on Level 4, Wentworth Building.
Here's what's on offer:
Visit the Cubby to challenge your new mates to some friendly competition at one of the pool tables. (ACCESS Cardholders get a 15% discount.)
Hire a locker for one semester or the whole year. They’re located on levels 2 and 4 of the Wentworth Building, in Manning House and the Holme Building.

International TV Lounge
Located in the bean bag area, our 5 widescreen TVs will be broadcasting a variety of news, entertainment and sport from around the world covering 7 languages.
Enjoy the suspense, tension and comedy of Asian and European dramas, stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the world with ABC News 24 and catch a glimpse of some of the largest international sporting events.
Can’t hear the TV? You can stream the audio right to your iPhone! Simply connect to the ISL TV wi-fi network (pw: StudentsTV), direct your browser to 192.168.0.1 and choose which TV you want to hear. Easy! Android users: Download the FLV Video Player app, and then follow the above process.

A variety of clubs and societies host social events most weekday afternoons ranging from chess tournaments to hip-hop classes. Come and join in the fun. ISL is also home to Unimates, an international students club that holds regular social and cultural events such as weekend trips to the Blue Mountains and tours of Sydney city.
Campus Tours Get to know your campus with a guided tour by our friendly volunteers. Find out where the computer labs, libraries and USU facilities are located, and learn tips and tricks to make the most of your time at the University of Sydney.
Sydney Day Trips Discover Sydney with fellow international students. Visit the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour and other famous sights and make new friends.
Welcome to Sydney Party To welcome you to Sydney and the university we throw a huge party at Manning Bar with free food and entry for ACCESS cardholders. Dance all night, win great prizes and make new friends. Perfect.
International Festival (April) This three-day cultural event celebrates the diversity of students on campus with globally-focused activities, performances and learning experiences for everyone.
